"Worst Christmas Ever" by Doe Boy Sumz review by Frank Starfyre

Review Of - Worst Christmas Ever

Worst Christmas Ever, produced by Coach Cap, is what happens when you grew up on New Jack Swing Era R&B.  It's essentially the story of a man reflecting on his ties to a woman, and done so poetically.

It's a gift, wrapped in a sonic wave, presented with a shiny bow that is the lyricism of Doe Boy Sumz.

It's a story of love and appreciation. "Worse Christmas Ever if I don't get to you," is how the hook starts and it's off to the races after that. The production from Coach Cap is tight and melodic, and he lends his vocals to the project. Though he's not a singer, it doesn't matter, as this song is what you kids call "a bop" , while us Old Heads would call it a banger.

It reminds me of something from BBD, or Guy ( ask ya parents, kids), which is the highest praise I could possibly give.
Sumz raps "I can grant ya wish for sleigh ride, down to the day spa, I need the gift that, comes by ya waistline. Double entendre for face time, that's why you stay fly." You should know, as a fan of verbiage, I love a good double entendre.

This song has classic written all over it. I took my time listening to this and all I can tell you is put Worse Christmas Ever in the stocking of someone you love. It'll be worth it, for sure.
